Suol091HurleeLa Touche

Hurlee might be Spain’s most exciting Disco House artist right now. We were lucky enough to feature him on our ‘Hallo Montag’ series just a few months ago with a little gem called ‘I’m Going A Believer’ which earned him international praise and was picked up by Claptone for his famous Clapcast radio show.
We are happy to welcome him back to Suol with a brand new EP.
The title track is ‘La Touche’. With its sweet Disco strings, looping filtered melodies and a wonderful vocal cut, this tasty track will have everybody grinning from ear to ear.
You’ll be wanting more after that one and ‘Favorite Jazz’ is your perfect dessert. It immediately introduces itself as Hurlee’s trademark Disco magic with a bouncing combination of live bass line and fluffy House groove. Adding guitar chords and a funky vocal to the mix, the recipe for good times is pretty much complete. But it’s the added spice of clever filtering, infectious horn stabs and spot-on arrangement that make this tune truly delicious.
Rounding off the EP, we’ve got none other than label boss Johnjon on remix duties for ‘Favorite Jazz’, taking an alternative approach to the original. A vintage Electro groove forms the track’s backbone, with little splashes of 303 acid garnishing the expertly programmed drum machine patterns. With this in place, Johnjon adds on dreamlike, almost ambient layers, taking us on an explorative journey through sound, searching for the source of that reverbing vocal.
