“Out Ya Mind”, the latest addition to the ‘9 Months’ series, features spoken word vocals by Lazarusman. The South African slam poet has made quite a name for himself on the scene, having already appeared on tracks by Stimming, Soul Clap, Aki Bergen, DjumaSoundsystem, Cosmic Cowboys, Till Von Sein, Tigerskin, Salvatore Agrosi and many others. In his trademark style, Lazarusman reflects upon why everyone should use their heads just a little bit more in this day and age. While this track gets some intelligent messages across, it is still by all means a party track. Chopstick & Johnjon make sure of this with their tight combination of kicking drum machine work, atmospheric synths and an artfully unfolding acid house extravaganza.
