Suol is proud to present another new member to the squad. Fritz Zander, one half of the impeccable duo Zander VT decided to release his second ever solo EP on Suol… so sit down, shut up and listen.
On A1 we find “For Your Love”, modern Vocal House (Fritz is gonna kill me for this) at its best. A loop driven track that rips apart every floor we play it on. Very tricky break parts and a massive sound already made this work for all of us … and then Fritz found these vocals that put the icing on the cake. This is a big one…
B1 is occupied by “When The Lights Went Out”. A wonderful slow groover showing us Fritz’ soft side. Based on a very nice piano-disco line this one is just the right track for early in the evening or early in the morning. Actually it works well at peak time too …. ok, got me – you can play it 24/7 and people gonna love you for it.
Last but not least on the vinyl version of our 20st release we have “Lose Yourself” on B2. If you slow it down a little more i can imagine Black Thought rapping over it … so much soul and live feel is in this one. Pianos and rhodes in a very playfull harmony, maybe throwing of some of you guys, but the connaisseurs will eat this up right away.
Digital Exclusive we have “Winter Wonderland”. I remember when Fritz showed this one to us … he made the ruff idea in Switzerland during a winter stay and it captured the vibe of a “Winter Wonderland” in such a perfect way that we decided to conserve it during the summer for you guys. See, even if it gets colder everyday … Winter can be nice too
