It’s summer 2011 and things are slowing down on the dancefloors. Maximum deceleration with a minimum frictional loss. Filthy suspense-funk at around 115 bpm. And out there at the front of the pack are Yannick Labbé and Daniel “Stoerte” Becker, the duo better known as Trickski. “Wilderness” is the pick for the first single of their long-awaited debut album “Unreality” that will be released on SUOL in june.
Original 12″ version of “Wilderness”: The boys take it slow, the boys go deeper and of course – the boys make you wait. With a massive groove this one grinds itself right into your brain and it’s one of these Trickski tracks that make you think “Why are people going so mad – there is nothing happening”.
Genius of Time Remix: We find a magnificent remix by the swedish duo Genius of Time. Their melodic approach to the remix blew us away. The deepness and beauty just makes you close your eyes and enjoy the ride.
SoulPhiction Re-Rub: We invited the funk into our house with no other than Soulphiction on the “Re-Rub”. His focus is more on the “Wilderness” vocal when he slowly introduces the arpeggiator and takes it away to funky town. Amazing.
Jef K Remix: Last but not least Jef K brings us the house groove he his known for on B2. An amazing oldschool groove that goes right into your dancing shoes. And if that isn’t enough for you we have a 10 minutes digi exclusive version for those who just can’t stop listening to this.
